A randomly generated temporary password will be emailed to the user. They will be required to set a new password immediately upon next login.

The user will be prompted to create a new password immediately after signing in with this temporary password.

1. Platform Usage. SkillMatch Pro is a technology-based hiring platform — not a recruiting or staffing firm. You agree to use the platform only for lawful employment purposes and to provide accurate, truthful profile information.

2. No Fees to Candidates. SkillMatch Pro is free to join. Paid upgrades (Standard $29/mo, Pro $49/mo) provide additional invitation capacity. You are never charged for accepting or declining invitations.

3. Anonymity. Your identity is kept anonymous from employers until you accept their invitation. Once you accept, your full profile is shared. You agree not to attempt to identify employers before mutual acceptance.

4. Platform Ownership. Employers who hire you through or as a result of this platform are subject to SkillMatch Pro's placement fee. This is an obligation between SkillMatch Pro and the employer — it does not affect your compensation or employment terms in any way.

5. Reporting. If you accept an employment offer from an employer you were introduced to through SkillMatch Pro, please report this through the platform. This helps ensure proper fee collection and keeps the platform free for candidates.

6. Data. Your profile data is used solely for matching purposes. We do not sell your data to third parties.

7. Governing Law. This agreement is governed by the laws of Florida, USA.

SKILLMATCH PRO EMPLOYER SERVICES AGREEMENT — Version 1.0

1. NATURE OF SERVICE — TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM. SkillMatch Pro is a technology-based candidate matching platform. SkillMatch Pro is not a recruiting firm, staffing agency, or employment agency. SkillMatch Pro is not a party to any employment relationship between you and any candidate. All hiring decisions are made solely by you, the Employer. SkillMatch Pro's fees are earned upon successful candidate introduction and acceptance — not upon the outcome of employment.

2. SUBSCRIPTION & FEES. You agree to pay the applicable monthly subscription fee for your account type. All fees are due and payable immediately upon the triggering event:
• Invitation Fee: Charged immediately when a candidate accepts your invitation ($1,000 standard / $2,000 C-Suite).
• Placement Fee: Charged immediately upon hire confirmation ($5,000 standard / $10,000 C-Suite).
• Subscription: Charged monthly in advance. No pro-ration for partial months.

3. NO REFUNDS — NO PAYMENT TERMS. ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. SkillMatch Pro does not offer:
• Net-30, Net-45, or any deferred payment terms
• Refunds or credits for candidates who resign, are terminated, or do not complete any probationary period
• Replacement candidates at reduced or no cost
• Fee reductions for any reason related to post-hire candidate performance
The platform fee compensates SkillMatch Pro for the matching technology, candidate sourcing, profile verification, and introduction services — all of which are fully delivered at the time of candidate acceptance. Post-hire employment outcomes are solely between you and the candidate.

4. CANDIDATE OWNERSHIP — 12-MONTH EXCLUSIVITY. KEY PROVISION: All candidates introduced to you through SkillMatch Pro remain the exclusive property of SkillMatch Pro for twelve (12) months from the date of first introduction. You acknowledge and agree that:
• Any hire of a SkillMatch Pro candidate within 12 months of introduction — whether through the platform or through any other channel — is subject to the full applicable placement fee.
• This applies regardless of whether the hire occurs during or after your active subscription.
• Hiring a SkillMatch Pro candidate off-platform without paying the placement fee constitutes a material breach of this agreement.

5. OFF-PLATFORM HIRE REPORTING. If you hire a candidate introduced through SkillMatch Pro outside of the platform, you must report this hire within 5 business days using the platform's reporting tool or by emailing billing@skillmatchpro.com. Failure to report is a material breach and may result in the placement fee plus a penalty equal to 50% of the placement fee, account suspension, and legal action to recover fees owed.

6. IMMEDIATE PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION. By accepting this agreement, you authorize SkillMatch Pro to charge all applicable fees to your payment method on file immediately upon each triggering event. You waive any right to dispute charges that are consistent with this agreement.

7. NO EMPLOYMENT GUARANTEE. SkillMatch Pro makes no representations or warranties regarding the suitability, qualifications, performance, or employment tenure of any candidate. The platform's AI matching is provided as a tool to assist your hiring decisions — final hiring decisions and employment outcomes are solely your responsibility.

8. ANONYMITY & DATA USAGE. You agree not to attempt to identify, contact, or solicit candidates outside the platform prior to mutual acceptance. Candidate data shared with you is for hiring evaluation only and may not be used, shared, or stored for any other purpose.

9. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION. SkillMatch Pro reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for payment failure, terms violations, or off-platform hire non-reporting. Suspension does not relieve you of any outstanding fee obligations.

10. GOVERNING LAW. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in Palm Beach County, Florida. The prevailing party in any dispute shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs.

Data we collect: Name, email, employment history (results and skills), work preferences, and billing information processed by Stripe.

How we use it: Solely to operate the matching algorithm and facilitate hiring connections. Your results and skills are anonymised before being shown to employers.

Third parties: Stripe (payment processing). We do not share your data with any other third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Retention: Your data is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion request.

Your rights: You may request a copy of your data or deletion at any time by contacting privacy@skillmatchpro.com.

Cookies: We use only essential cookies required for authentication. No tracking or analytics cookies.
